About the role
You will be responsible to handle sale and operation planning of a defined product range from outsource suppliers. Ensures the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business(es). Executes assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.
What you'll do
- Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure On Time Delivery , quality, delivery, cost
- Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products
- Supports the Procurement Manager in implementing effective local procurement strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements
- Supports alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy
