What you'll do
- Design and develop large-scale backend services, APIs, and microservices for high-throughput data systems
- Build and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines using technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, etc
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, data analysts and engineers to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions
- Optimize performance and reliability of distributed systems; ensure low-latency data ingestion and processing
- Champion code quality, performance, and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, containerization, observability, fault tolerance) and mentor juniors
