About the role
The Software Test Lead Engineer works directly to Software Test Manager to do the test planning, monitoring, test execution and reporting for multiple ongoing projects. You will develop, design, and deploy test scripts and test cases of complex modules, help set up the test environment and contribute to the requirements documentation and test design for different types of testing.
What you'll do
- The Software test lead works closely with key stake holders in the organization such as program managers, product managers, development engineers
- Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement
- Determine the completion timeline and monitor progress to keep the project on track and on schedule
- Develop a strategy that the team members can use to better reach a project’s goal
- Create and distribute SQA sign off reports and metrics on regular basis and communicate test results to the Project teams
