About the role

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day execution, performance, and growth of your team, translating the technical strategy and architecture set by senior technical leaders into concrete plans, priorities, and delivery outcomes. You will partner with architects and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure your team executes against business goals and customer needs, while coaching, developing, and building a high-performing engineering organisation.

• Bring strong hands-on engineering credibility and proven people leadership — able to guide, motivate, and earn the respect of a highly talented team
• Own performance management, career development, and staffing/priorities for your organization, building a high-performing, inclusive, results-oriented team
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices, modern tooling (including AI-assisted development), and process improvements across the software delivery lifecycle
• Own the functional and non-functional requirements roadmap for your org, balancing speed, quality, and reliability
