About the role
The SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using SAP BusinessObjects technologies. This role focuses on building and optimizing semantic layers, reports, and dashboards that enable reliable, scalable, and governed access to enterprise data.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects universes (UNX), reports, and dashboards aligned to business requirements
- Develop and optimize Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, and other BO artifacts for performance, scalability, and usability
- Build and maintain semantic data models that abstract complex source systems into consumable business views
- Partner with data engineering and platform teams to integrate SAP BO with enterprise data platforms and source systems
- Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across reports and dashboards
