About the role
The Global Commodity Manager at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, supply continuity, and quality in alignment with business objectives.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement global commodity strategies for cable commodity, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
- Lead complex negotiations with key suppliers to achieve cost savings, optimize terms and conditions, and secure long-term supply agreements
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities, mitigate risks, and stay abreast of industry trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance against key metrics (cost, quality, delivery, service), and drive continuous improvement initiatives
