What you'll do
- Monitor multi-source event feeds across official releases, ports and carriers, weather, geo, regulatory updates, and other credible sources, including internal tools
- Verify each event: cross-check at least two independent sources, reconcile discrepancies, and record confidence level
- Keep a clean citation trail: store links, timestamps, and brief source notes inside the record; attach screenshots or archived links when needed
- Engage with commodity managers for fact checks and go/no-go approval; incorporate their guidance to improve the clarity and usefulness of each alert
- Track every incident through its lifecycle, including open, monitoring, mitigated, and closed
