About the role
As a TE6 Technical Customization & Extension Lead, you will own the architectural integrity, design, and technical delivery of platform extensions, custom codebases, and tailored business solutions built on top of Oracle EBS/Fusion (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCM, or proprietary SaaS engines). At the TE6 level, you act as the highest technical authority for custom engineering, balancing product scalability with bespoke client or functional requirements.

- Define clean separation between core application code and custom extensions using side-by-side extension patterns, microservices, and serverless architectures (e.g.
- Design custom data model extensions, custom UI/UX modules, and custom business logic engines while ensuring zero technical debt on platform upgrade paths
- Establish strict coding standards, review mechanisms, and CI/CD automated test policies for all custom builds
- Evaluate custom enhancement requests to prevent "over-customization"—advocating for standard out-of-the-box (OOTB) configurations wherever viable
- Manage API contracts, custom hooks, webhooks, and custom event listeners to keep extensions modular and decoupled
