About the role
We are seeking an experienced Checker to join our dedicated team in the Steel Detailing department.
What you'll do
- Review and interpret technical and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of structural detailing requirements
- Analyze connection design drawings and raise RFIs (Requests for Information) for any discrepancies, missing information, or design conflicts
- Identify and classify Fireproof Members, Architectural Exposed Structural Steel (AESS), Galvanized Members, and other special structural components
- Apply knowledge of paint finishes, material grades, bolt grades, and weld specifications in accordance with project standards
- Verify that all received inputs and documents are current and aligned with the latest Transmittal Index
