About the role
We are seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer with deep expertise in distribution networks, power flow analysis, and grid planning to help develop advanced software for utility-scale grid intelligence. In this role, you will combine electrical engineering knowledge with software product development to build the capabilities utilities need for capacity planning, forecasting, and interconnection studies.
What you'll do
- Lead the engineering of grid modeling, power flow, and planning capabilities, ensuring that the product delivers accurate, reliable
- Integrate the selected engine into the product and ensure it operates effectively at scale
- Develop repeatable integrations using CIM, GIS, and vendor-specific formats, and establish processes for handling incomplete or inconsistent data
- Ensure connectivity gaps and data limitations are explicitly identified rather than producing misleading results
- Scenarios, Forecasting, and Real Loading: Develop planning scenarios covering base, future, flexibility, contingency, and switching cases
