About the role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and operating next-generation cloud networking solutions. You will take ownership of new product capabilities from initial concept and architecture through development, deployment, and production support. Working on large-scale distributed systems, you will help build reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that power complex multi-cloud networking environments.
What you'll do
- Own the complete software development lifecycle, taking product ideas from initial scoping and technical design through implementation, deployment
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale distributed systems supporting multi-cloud networking environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance
- Develop and maintain backend APIs and microservices using technologies such as Java, Spring, Go, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes
- Leverage AI-powered development tools, large language models, and agentic workflows to optimize coding processes, accelerate delivery, and improve engineering efficiency
- Take full responsibility for the services you develop, including production monitoring, customer escalations, on-call support, troubleshooting, telemetry analysis
