External Reporting Controller - Associate

About the role

As a member of the External Reporting function within Finance, you will oversee financial statement and management reporting activities while maintaining a sound control environment. You will understand and apply accounting treatments and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate the preparation of quarterly regulatory requirements and support accurate, complete submissions.

What you'll do

• Apply up-to-date product, industry, and market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting
• Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness, including quarter-over-quarter variance analysis
• Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting teams
• Assist in the thorough assessment of issues and outcomes, and clearly communicate financial information while flagging potential issues
• Participate in the production, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports filed with regulatory agencies
