About the role
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology – Risk Technology team, you will lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable services with a strong focus on Python/Flask and APIs. You will drive business impact through hands-on engineering, architecture leadership, and disciplined use of approved AI-assisted development practices.
What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership and direction across engineering teams, partners, contractors, and vendors
- Design, build, and operate Python-centric services (primarily Flask) and REST APIs, ensuring versioning, reliability, and performance
- Develop secure, high-quality production code; conduct code reviews, debugging, and root-cause analysis
- Lead system and architecture design, produce and maintain technical designs and engineering standards
- Deploy and operate applications on GAIA Application Platform (GAP) (PaaS), leveraging platform services and tools
