About the role
As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and community banking technology team, you serve in a leadership role by providing technical coaching and advisory for multiple technical teams, as well as anticipate the needs and potential dependencies of other functions within the firm.
What you'll do
- Sets and scales operating practices for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and SDLC/TLM automation across multiple teams to improve delivery speed, quality
- Lead and develop a team of full-stack engineers delivering Java/Spring Boot services and React/Angular UI experiences
- Own delivery outcomes (scope, timelines, quality, operational readiness) and manage execution through Agile planning and sprint ceremonies
- Establish and enforce engineering standards: secure coding, code reviews, test strategy, CI/CD quality gates, and observability
- Drive platform reliability and operational excellence: incident response readiness, root-cause analysis, preventative controls, and reduction of repeat issues
