About the role
As a Wholesale Credit Risk EMEA Associate in the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) team, you will work closely with business partners across the region, including Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, M&A, Corporate Bank, Markets, Treasury Services, and Trade Finance to assess and manage credit risk for a broad range of clients within TMT.
What you'll do
- Take responsibility for due diligence, credit analysis, and financial modelling of credit counterparties
- Drive the preparation of credit memos and make recommendations on structure, risk appetite, and grading
- Build financial models and challenge industry teams on modelling assumptions
- Devise appropriate downside scenarios and clearly articulate key modelling conclusions
- Work across a variety of products including loans, derivatives, trade, and treasury products
