What you'll do
- Conduct regular ward rounds and interact with patients to assess dietary requirements
- Monitor food services to ensure meals provided align with prescribed dietary plans
- Prescribe therapeutic and non-therapeutic diets using sound principles of nutrition and diet therapy
- Ensure all diet plans respect patient-specific socio-cultural constraints and preferences
- Plan and provide special diets for patients with unique nutritional needs (e.g. renal, diabetic, post-surgery)
