About the role
To provide safe and effective anaesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring appropriate pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anaesthesia management and post-operative monitoring in coordination with the surgical and critical care teams.
What you'll do
- Conduct pre-anaesthesia assessments, review medical history, investigations and identify potential anaesthesia-related risks
- Administer anaesthesia for surgical procedures as per clinical protocols and under appropriate supervision
- Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain haemodynamic stability during procedures
- Provide post-operative care, pain management and recovery monitoring
- Manage anaesthesia-related emergencies, including airway management and resuscitation, as per hospital protocols
