About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead the evolution of our test architecture, automation frameworks, and quality engineering practices. This role will define the strategic direction of quality engineering across distributed cloud-native systems, drive adoption of AI-assisted testing methodologies, and partner with engineering leadership to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure software delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of scalable test automation frameworks, quality infrastructure, and testing architecture
- Define and drive the strategic vision for quality engineering, aligning automation initiatives with business objectives and product roadmaps
- Champion AI-assisted testing practices and leverage emerging technologies to improve quality, efficiency, and release velocity
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Platform leaders to establish quality priorities, governance, and release confidence measures
- Drive root cause analysis of complex production and test failures, identifying systemic quality risks and remediation strategies
