Identify and execute continuous improvement projects to optimize packaging material usage, minimize shipping dimensions and lower freight costs. Analyze transit damage data, gather customer feedback and implement corrective actions to improve packaging Explore alternative, eco-friendly or reusable packaging materials while maintaining structural protection.
What you'll do
- Design and develop domestic and export-worthy packaging solutions tailored for Engines, Gensets, Pump Sets and Spare Parts
- Lead end-to-end packaging development for proto codes during new product development phases
- Identify and execute continuous improvement projects to optimize packaging material usage, minimize shipping dimensions and lower freight costs
- Analyze transit damage data, gather customer feedback and implement corrective actions to improve packaging
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT)—including Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Sourcing—for packaging trials and sign-offs
