About the role
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in mobile application development, architecture, performance optimization, reliability, and API integration. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to build scalable consumer-facing mobile experiences. This role is suited for an engineer who can operate independently, make sound technical decisions, contribute to architecture, and mentor other developers.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance mobile applications for Android and/or iOS
- Own mobile features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through testing, release, and monitoring
- Design and implement robust mobile architecture and reusable components
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, push notifications, deep linking, and real-time services
- Optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, network performance, battery consumption, and UI responsiveness
