About the role
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems and structures for solar power projects. This includes mounting structures, trackers, module alignment, and mechanical infrastructure. The role requires ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of project milestones.
What you'll do
- Develop mechanical designs and layouts for solar module mounting structures (MMS) and trackers
- Perform load calculations, material selection, and structural analysis
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IS, ASTM, IEC)
- Supervise the installation of mechanical components on-site
