- Apply a fundamental understanding of the applicable independence rules and regulations in executing independence review procedures
- Conduct comprehensive up-front clearance research using audit engagement team-provided information and publicly available sources
- Perform detailed affiliate evaluations, including identifying affiliates, non-affiliates, and controlled non-affiliates during the independence review
- Perform independence technical research as directed by supervisors; display a fundamental understanding of the impact of decisions on Audit
