About the role
The role covers both containerized deployments on Kubernetes (GKE and RKE), delivered using CI/CD pipelines and automation, and multi-tier deployments of the Head-End System (HES) across Windows and Linux servers. Across both, the TIM takes the Landis+Gyr solution from environment readiness through to production, covering the full stack from head-end software to field network endpoints.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end technical deployment of Landis+Gyr AMI solutions for new customers and upgrades, from environment readiness through go-live
- Validate that provisioned GCP and RKE environments meet deployment prerequisites, working with the infrastructure teams responsible for provisioning them
- Deploy, configure and upgrade containerized applications on Kubernetes (GKE and RKE) using Docker and Helm charts
- Install, configure and upgrade the Head-End System (HES) across its multi-tier architecture (network, metrology, web
- Use and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash) to automate deployment, upgrade and rollback
