Geophysics Analyst at L&T Technology Services. Manage seismic attribute data, trace data (SEG-Y), navigation files, velocity files, horizon data and associated metadata.
What you'll do
- Manage seismic attribute data, trace data (SEG-Y), navigation files, velocity files, horizon data and associated metadata
- Support OpenWorks, Petrel reference projects and Studio repositories, including agreed project structures and data exchange
- Maintain lineage, limitations, version information, naming conventions and metadata required for future data reuse
- Perform and validate conversions between seismic formats, including checks for headers, geometry, sampling and coordinate-reference information
- Identify and control format-conversion risks, data loss, inconsistent naming and version-control issues
