About the role
The customer's expectation is for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in packaging machinery and systems. Evaluating the suitability and performance of packaging equipment, from fillers through secondary packaging. Supporting End-of-Line (EOL) systems, including palletizing operations. Coordinating and working closely with equipment vendors.
What you'll do
- Evaluating the suitability and performance of packaging equipment, from fillers through secondary packaging
- Supporting End-of-Line (EOL) systems, including palletizing operations
- Coordinating and working closely with equipment vendors
- Developing and finalizing technical specifications for equipment modifications and packaging/product changeovers
- Providing engineering support for packaging process improvements and optimization
