About the role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader within our semiconductor equipment engineering team, driving the design and development of high-precision capital equipment and industrial machinery. You will own complex product development programmes end-to-end from concept and detailed design through prototype, build, and test cycles
What you'll do
- Own complex product development programmes end-to-end from concept and detailed design through prototype, build, and test cycles
- Also play a key mentoring role, guiding junior engineers through design trade-offs and best practices
- Lead projects of notable complexity and risk; develop top-level design strategy for product development programmes
- Collaborate with the Multiphysics modelling team to analyse performance characteristics and evaluate design trade-offs
- Resolve design problems related to product performance across engineering, manufacturing, and field environments
