About the role
Responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing material handling activities for power plant projects, ensuring timely receipt, storage, preservation, issuance, transportation, and availability of project materials to support construction and erection activities.
What you'll do
- Plan and manage material handling operations for BTG package
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, logistics, construction, and vendors for material movement and availability
- Monitor receipt, inspection, unloading, storage, preservation, and issuance of project materials
- Ensure proper handling of heavy and over-dimensional consignments (ODC)
- Track material shortages and expedite critical materials to avoid schedule slippages
