About the role
We are looking for an experienced Plant & Machinery Engineer to manage construction equipment, machinery maintenance, equipment availability, and operational efficiency at construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and timely maintenance of plant and machinery to support smooth project execution.
What you'll do
- Manage the operation, maintenance, and servicing of construction plant and machinery at project sites
- Ensure the availability and efficient utilization of construction equipment, including excavators, cranes, batching plants, concrete pumps, loaders, generators
- Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant and machinery
- Monitor equipment breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure minimum downtime
- Maintain equipment records, service history, inspection reports, and maintenance logs
