About the role
Engineer, operate, and continuously improve highly available IBM MQ and Confluent Kafka platform services across cloud and on-premises environments. Build secure, scalable, reusable, and increasingly self-service platform capabilities that reduce the need for one-off integration development. Experience supporting highly available, business-critical platforms as part of a platform, middleware, infrastructure, or site-reliability team.

- Help deliver IBM MQ and Apache Kafka platform services supporting applications and workloads across Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and on-premises environments
- Partner closely with teams across the organization working on the agent runtime, enterprise APIs, and application services to enable reliable event-driven communication
- Work closely with enterprise architects, developers and engineers from domain-aligned teams, business analysts, product managers
- Build secure, scalable, reusable, and increasingly self-service platform capabilities that reduce the need for one-off integration development
