About the role
The Aviation team in AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Airfield Design Engineer at GTC – Mumbai Office. The primary function of this role will be to support the Senior Airfield Design Engineer in Aviation projects.
What you'll do
- Perform airfield pavement design and evaluation for flexible and rigid pavements. Conduct aircraft movement and apron stand planning analyses
- Undertake obstacle limitation surface (OLS) and safeguarding assessments
- Carry out grading, drainage, and earthwork design for airside facilities
- Evaluate aircraft compatibility and airside operational requirements
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for Runways, Taxiways, Aprons and aircraft stands, Rapid exit taxiways
