About the role
The Application Functional Analyst is responsible for the ongoing management, functional support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of project controls and governance applications, including Primavera P6 Cloud, Primavera P6 On-Premises, EcoSys, CostX and Comaea. The role acts as the primary liaison between business users, vendors, support teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure applications remain reliable, supportable, and aligned with business needs.
What you'll do
- Act as the functional lead for assigned project controls and governance applications, ensuring systems remain aligned with business processes, delivery needs
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, releases, and vendor-led changes, including impact assessments, testing, communications, and business readiness activities
- Work with application vendors, database teams, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to coordinate initiatives such as database consolidation
- Provide Level 3 functional support for complex issues, working with technical teams and vendors to investigate root causes, recommend workarounds
- Participate in solution testing, release validation, and deployment activities
