About the role
As an ITS and Traffic Design Engineer, you are responsible for designing and developing signalized intersections and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) solutions, including Variable Message Signs (VMS), CCTV systems, vehicle detection technologies, and associated power and communication networks. You work closely with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate ITS solutions into broader transportation and infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
- Design and develop traffic signalized intersections
- Design and develop Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) solutions, including Variable Message Signs (VMS), CCTV systems, Vehicle detection systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ITS designs into broader transport and infrastructure projects
- Conduct feasibility studies, and technical evaluations to inform ITS design and implementation
- Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and drawings for ITS projects
