About the role
The Engineer – Testing & Commissioning is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and documenting testing and commissioning activities for engineering systems, equipment, and installations. The role ensures that systems are installed correctly, tested safely, operate in accordance with approved designs and specifications, and are handed over to the client or operations team in a reliable and fully functional condition.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans, procedures, checklists, and schedules in line with project requirements
- Review approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, equipment data sheets, and vendor documentation before testing activities begin
- Verify that installations are complete, correctly assembled, and ready for testing and commissioning
- Perform pre-commissioning inspections, functional tests, performance tests, and system start-up activities
- Conduct inspections and tests in accordance with approved procedures, applicable codes, industry standards, and manufacturer recommendations
