About the role
LDC is looking for an Associate Research Analyst in to join the Research team under cotton platform who will be solely responsible for primary and secondary data collection and participating crop production analyses , share production related aspects and trend analysis to the business and contribute towards effective business results.
What you'll do
- Supervise and enhance research methodologies for crop estimation and strategy, ensuring continuous review based on observations from crop tours
- Regularly update and maintain databases and time-series data, contributing to the development and refinement of research methodologies and strategies
- Collect and evaluate primary and secondary data, performing sanity checks on databases and external sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Develop automation tools using macros, Power Pivot, and dashboards to make data updates swift and efficient
- Identify risks to crop estimates by modeling various scenarios and assessing their potential impact
