About the role
The TMS (Transportation Management System) team builds and operates the platforms that orchestrate shipment execution across our supply chain—tendering, tracking, appointments, and freight workflows. We deliver scalable, resilient microservices and integrations that connect carriers, distribution centers, and downstream systems through API-first and event-driven architectures.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Define and execute the engineering strategy for Freight Hawk and Freight Rate Estimations in alignment with Transportation Technology objectives
- Drive delivery of strategic initiatives across shipment visibility, predictive ETA, freight pricing, carrier integrations, and platform modernization
- Partner with Product Management to translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions and predictable delivery plans
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to establish technology direction, engineering standards, and long-term platform evolution
