About the role
As part of the AI & Data Engineering group, our team builds internal and customer-facing AI focused web applications for monitoring, onboarding, workflow management, and reporting across LSEG's real-time data and delivery estate. We work closely with business participants and customers to deliver reliable, data-driven solutions that simplify operations and improve user experience.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and enhance AI enabled backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and reporting solutions using Java (Spring Boot) and Python
- Take ownership of features from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Collaborate with participants, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and propose effective technical solutions
- See opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain and improve application reliability, security, performance, documentation, and overall technical health
