About the role
This shared services role includes supporting various accounting teams for various accounting tasks. This includes supporting external and internal reporting, margin accounting, opex/capex accounting, and our newly acquired entity of Alkira. You will operate in a high‑accountability environment where expectations are clear, decisions matter, and trust is built through rigor, consistency, and results.
What you'll do
- Lead and execute month-end and quarter-end close activities for assigned entities, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Oversee and review daily accounting operations—AP, AR, and GL—to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare, review and analyze financial statements, variance analyses and management reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP
- Coordinate and support statutory and internal audit processes, providing necessary schedules and documentation
- Develop, implement and maintain robust internal controls, policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
