About the role
The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, and design documentation for automation systems and special purpose machines. The role requires strong design fundamentals, hands‑on experience with Solid Edge, and the ability to convert customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings using Solid Edge
- Create design concepts for automation equipment and special purpose machines
- Interpret customer requirements and convert them into engineering designs
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), technical documentation, and revision control
- Coordinate with Project, Production, and Purchase teams for design feasibility and execution
