About the role
The Asst/Dy Manager- Engine Proprietary Commodity is responsible for the development and management of parts for new projects, product improvements, cost reduction initiatives, field complaints resolution, alternative sourcing, and capacity enhancement.
What you'll do
- Manufacturing feasibility for new release part w.r.t. SOR/SOW, new release drawing & finalizing / establishing the Engine Prop.Air Cooling
- Get the quotation from suppliers after finalizing the process
- Develop the component and get the process certified through PPAP from SQA
- Lead product improvement initiatives, cost reduction projects, additional and alternate sourcing activities
- Address field complaints and implement capacity enhancement solutions for Engine Prop.Air Cooling, Fuel Cooler and Exhaust System Components
