About the role
As a Engineer in Safety Systems Integration at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of vehicle restraint systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on conceptual design proposals, conducting comprehensive packaging and feasibility analyses for restraints components to ensure optimal fit and function.
What you'll do
- Play a pivotal role in the development and integration of vehicle restraint systems
- Be tasked with mapping critical airbag impact zones, such as CAB, SAB, and KAB, using advanced CAD techniques
- Prepare and release documentation in alignment with gateway milestones, including lesson learned reports
- Leading and facilitating Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Reviews (DR) will also be essential to assure safety and quality standards are met
- Be responsible for driving initiatives related to weight optimization and cost reduction without compromising safety or compliance standards
