About the role
The SW Purchase – Development Engineer will be responsible for executing end-to-end software procurement (Vehicle software such as Alexa, connected car, Streaming services, UI tools, etc. ) activities, including RFQ releases, technical alignment with stakeholders, quote evaluation, taxation alignment, and ensuring timely supplier payments.
What you'll do
- RFQ (Request for Quotation) Management
- Prepare and release RFQs to approved vendors
- Ensure clarity of technical requirements and scope in RFQ documents
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering/Prodcut Planning) to gather and confirm technical requirements
- Align vendor proposals with technical expectations and highlight deviations
