About the role
We are seeking an experienced EV Powertrain Sourcing & Development Engineer with strong expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), DC-DC Converters, Chargers, Traction Motors, Motor Controllers/Inverters, and other high-voltage/low-voltage electrical powertrain components used in Electric Vehicles (EVs) .
What you'll do
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams during concept, prototype, validation, and production phases
- Drive NPD activities from RFQ stage through SOP (Start of Production)
- Evaluate design feasibility, manufacturability, localization opportunities, and cost competitiveness
- Support component selection, supplier nomination, APQP activities, and production readiness
- Conduct Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) , Should Costing , and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) exercises for EV powertrain components
