About the role
Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to establish acoustic requirements and specifications for automotive audio systems, ensuring alignment with product goals and customer expectations. Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automotive audio acoustics, evaluating new technologies and methodologies to enhance audio system performance.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage the audio acoustics team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the product development lifecycle
- Define and implement strategies for optimizing audio performance, sound quality, and acoustic comfort in automotive products, considering factors such as cabin noise
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to establish acoustic requirements and specifications for automotive audio systems
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automotive audio acoustics
- Plan and execute acoustic testing and validation procedures, including in-vehicle and laboratory tests
