About the role
Establish common simulation methodologies, standards, best practices, and design guidelines across all manufacturing processes. Build simulation capability roadmap aligned with future vehicle programs and technologies. Drive simulation integration into the product development lifecycle. Oversee Sheet Metal Forming simulations for BIW, closures, structural and chassis components.
What you'll do
- Guide and review all forming, casting, forging, and mold flow simulation outputs
- Establish technical review mechanisms and simulation quality benchmarks
- Mentor and develop the simulation team leads and specialists
- Drive supplier capability reviews and technology benchmarking
- Ensure lessons learned are captured and deployed across programs
