About the role
Perform high-quality GTAW/TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and nickel alloys, in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead). Interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, blueprints, and layouts to plan the sequence of operations. Select the correct tungsten electrode type/size, filler metal, and shielding gas (typically Argon).
