About the role
•Layout, Design & Development of Suspension parts (Frame, Arm, Torsion Beam, bushings, Shock Absorbers, Coil Springs, Stabilizer Bar ) (Experience can be in few of the areas out of the areas mentioned above & need may not be in all areas). Experience should include Suspension Motion Simulation, Design Calculations, Preparation of 3D Model, designer CAE & 2D Drawings in any of the software (preferably Unigraphics but not limited to UG only).
What you'll do
- Research, Design & Development of Suspension Frame, Arm, Torsion Beam/Banjo-type Rr axle, Shock Absorbers, Coil Springs, Sus bushings
- Conceptualize parts, create working model, check feasibility concerning manufacturability, and assembly. Engage with the CAE team to take countermeasures
- Estimate cost and weight at the part and sub-system levels & BOM handling
- Conduct design reviews and solve problems through QC Tools
- Collaboration with business partners for parts development
