About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our Data & Analytics Unit as an Assistant Vice President - Data Governance Lead. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining effective data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, and driving the bank's data management maturity.

What you'll do

• Play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining effective data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, and driving the bank's data management maturity
• Lead and support key data governance initiatives, identifying and managing critical data elements and domains
• Create and maintain a comprehensive Business Glossary and Data Catalog, ensuring accurate and up-to-date metadata
• Assess and operationalize technical metadata harvesting, aligning with data management standards and policies
• Collaborate closely with technology leads, business analysts, data owners, and stewards to enhance the data catalog and maintain policy and standards libraries
