About the role
The Mastercard Authentication Program powers consumer authentication experiences across e-commerce and in-store payment ecosystems. As part of this mission, the engineering team ensures our authentication platforms remain highly available, performant, scalable, resilient, and operationally efficient while supporting rapid product innovation and growth.
What you'll do
- Facilitate and oversee team Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning
- Coordinate resource planning and capacity allocation across the SRE and engineering team to balance operational commitments, incident response, technical debt reduction
- Drive backlog prioritization and dependency management across multiple Scrum teams to ensure delivery commitments are met
- Own end-to-end release governance across the broader authentication program. Identify opportunities to improve release processes, planning accuracy
- Understand the needs of the engineers and teams who have to build, maintain, and operate the system
