About the role
This role sits within Mastercard’s Open Finance Europe – Connectivity team, responsible for building and operating scalable API integrations with financial institutions across Europe. As a Software Engineer II, you will be a hands-on engineer responsible for building, testing, and supporting secure, reliable backend services.
What you'll do
- Develop, test, and support scalable APIs and backend services
- Contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, maintainable software solutions
- Deliver high-quality code throughout the software development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues under guidance from senior team members
- Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices and standards
