About the role
This Senior Java Engineer role is a senior-level software engineering position embedded within Citi's Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) Clearing technology organization, responsible for building and modernizing strategic, business-critical capabilities across a global clearing infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Deliver strategic initiatives within the ETD Clearing portfolio using Agile methodologies
- Design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications, APIs, and services aligned with Citi's architecture and engineering standards
- Perform hands-on Java-based development and provide L3 production support for the core ETD Clearing platform
- Contribute to platform transformation efforts, including the replacement of legacy product processors and the adoption of modern cloud, containerization
- Leverage and promote the adoption of AI-assisted software engineering tools to accelerate development cycles, automate processes, and improve troubleshooting efficiency
